Unhappy Game of Thrones fans can now get counseling after disappointing finale

Bark.com, an online platform that offers diverse professional services in the UK, has kicked off counseling sessions for dishearted fans of the just concluded TV show, Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones’ last episode aired on May 19th after eight seasons of action-packed entertainment. This, however, didn’t go well with fans who expected more episodes from the 8th season as well as a more favorable ending to the finale. Fans also signed a petition demanding that the entire 8th season be redone by HBO, the film company which has been behind the production of the show, due to the many ‘holes’ in the scripting and character assassination.

It’s true that the fantasy TV show which was created from George R.R. Martin’s novel, ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’, has gained a huge fanbase of over 19 million viewers all over the world making it undoubtedly the most popular show.
According to the site, ” Fans can speak to qualified counselors (who are familiar with the series) to discuss plot twists and storylines. The professionals will help them digest their feelings and interpretation of the show, which could range from anger and confusion to sadness and grief. Most importantly the counselors will be on hand to guide fans on how to move on after almost a decade of fandom.

The Game of Thrones counselors are available via Skype and will charge £20 for a 30-minute session and £40 for an hour session. Fans can book as many sessions as they see fit with their chosen counselor.”
In addition, depressed fans can book sessions for their friends and family members they care about. The mode of administering therapy can also be specified as either face to face, through video/Skype or phone call.

Signs of a depressed individual vary but the most highlighted ones include lack of appetite, repeatedly going over thoughts, anxiety, general discontent, guilt, loss of interest, mood swings, sadness, social isolation, lack of concentration, or occasional thoughts of suicide.

Kindly get professional help if you, your close family members or friends shows signs of depression. Feel free to visit Bonga.or.ke an online space where people can share their feelings privately without fear or disclosing their identity and feel free to speak your mind.
