South African pop sensation Tyla is the most nominated African artist at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Tyla has been nominated in three prestigious categories: World Artist of the Year, R&B Song of the Year, and Dance Song of the Year, showcasing her exceptional range and cross-genre appeal.
The 12th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards, slated for March 17, 2025, will celebrate the year’s most-played artists and songs across iHeartRadio platforms.
Her nomination for World Artist of the Year highlights Tyla’s influence in taking African music to a global audience, breaking boundaries, and setting new benchmarks. The viral success of her 2024 hit single Water earned her a spot in the R&B Song of the Year category, while her electrifying collaboration on Push 2 Start secured her a nomination for Dance Song of the Year.
35-year-old pop superstar Tyla have been nominated for 10 gongs each, with Swift also set to receive a special award titled Tour of the Century for her ‘Eras Tour’.
Sabrina Carpenter, Post Malone and Kendrick Lamar are tied for second with nine nominations each.
