Hit television show, The Real Househelps of Kawangware, has lost one of the most popular actors. Njugush (Timothy Kimani) announced he will not be in the next season of #TRHK.
Abel Mutua (writer) and Philip Karanja (director) have also called quits on the Protel Studio production. Phil and Njugush posted their exit on social media with hints that they were not comfortable with the direction the show will be taking.
“…This is due to Important aspects of the show changing for the new season. The aspects being Scripting and Directing.change is not bad , but without gelled and oiled transition I feel it would put characters, plot, and the whole show in jeopardy,” said Njugush.
However, both indicated they are not yet done with showbiz promising fans they will soon be on other channels.
“After 104 episodes, we feel we’ve done our share and it’d only be fair if we handed over the baton to another team to inject a new feel to the show,” wrote Abel. “It’s now time to work on new projects and our hope as Phil-It Productions is to be a game changer in as far as film and television is concerned.”
Njugush said he will be back soon “in a new outfit.”
