The Seven: Celebrities you probably did not know were siblings, number 4 will shock you

For some people, talent runs in the family.

Here are some of the interesting celebrity siblings most Kenyans do not know about.

1.Lenana Kariba and Kid Kora

Famed actor Lenana Ku’ngu Kariba stepped into the limelight with his role in the hit show ‘Changing Times’. Since then, he was remained booked and busy, featuring in various local productions including ‘Selina’, ‘Plan B’ and ‘ Auntie Boss’. The 31-year-old has an older brother who is also a big deal. Kid Kora from Kansol is Lenana’s elder brother. The ‘Accelerator’ crooner does not really speak of his relation to the leading man preferring to keep their relationship under wraps.

2.Buddha Blaze and Shukid

Music industry heavyweight Buddah Blaze is not an only child. The Hip Hop head has a brother, and his name is Shukid. A rapper, and a talented one at that; Shukid is definitely one to watch.

3. Angela Muiruri and Naomi Wamboe

Capital Fm’s Angela Muiruri and Naomi Wambui are sibling goals. Often out and about together, the duo and double trouble often painting the town red; and supporting each other with the sweetest social media posts.

4. Eddie Olang and Shappaman

Former Capital FM sales executive Eddie Olang has made a name for himself as one of Kenya’s most handsome men. The father of two is also the elder brother of Camp Mulla’s Shappa Man. Although Shappa Man does not really post much about his family, Eddie has not shied away from declaring him the most talented in the family.

5.  Deejay Hassan and rapper Jay A

International deejay, mixmaster DJ Hassan also has an incredibly talented brother. They say good things come in twos, and Hassan’s better half if the Coke Studio success rapper Jay A. Known for hits such as ‘Dumbala’ and ‘Gello’ which has soared high in national and international charts.

6. Janet Mbugua and Kevin Samuel Mbugua

Television host and former TV anchor Janet Mbugua has an elder brother. Kevin Samuel Mbugua is equally as talented, acting in hit shows including ‘Mali: United by Blood, Divided by Greed’ which aired on local television station NTV for 326 episodes. Samuel has been very outspoken about his mental wellness, speaking about his struggles with depression and suicide.

7. DJ Protege and Scott the Violinist

Yoram Mwangi, known to many as Deejay Protege is famed as the life of the party; and with his brother Scott by his side; the party could literally go on forever. Scott who came to fame as a violinist who changed perceptions of stuffy classical music; covers the most current releases with his violin; making for a very entertaining experience. The duo often performs together, fusing the classic and new in an unforgettable show.
