Tanzanian Media personality dies days after emceeing at his boss’ burial

Popular Clouds FM radio presenter and emcee Ephraim Kibonde has died.

The Tanzanian media fraternity is in mourning yet again after the death of another media personality days after Clouds Media boss was laid to rest on Monday.

According to a report by Tanzanian tabloid, The Citizen, Clouds FM programme manager Sabastian Maganga, the media personality died this morning (Thursday, March 7) at Bugando Hospital Mwanza, where he was receiving treatment.

Clouds FM confirmed the news by posting their message of condolence to the fallen media fellow on their social media platforms.

Kibonde was the MC at the Karimjee Hall where thousands turned up to bid farewell to Ruge Mutahaba on Saturday fell ill while attending his funeral in Bukoba. He was transferred to Bugando Hospital in Mwanza where he met his death early on Thursday, March 7. His death comes just months after he lost his wife who died in July 2018.

Clouds Media co-owner Ruge Mutahaba died while undergoing treatment in South Africa and was buried on Monday. He suffered from kidney failure.
