Cannabis helps women have multiple orgasms.
A new survey has revealed that women who smoke the substance before sex or masturbation have improved orgasm capacity per encounter as less than 50 per cent report climaxing during a sexual encounter.
The research, conducted by a team in North Carolina, suggests that this is likely because drug-taking makes women relaxed and increases their desire.
The relaxation is believed to be due to THC, the main psychoactive compound in marijuana.
More than 70 per cent of the study participants – both men and women – reported heightened sexual satisfaction after cannabis use.
In the study published in the Journal of Cannabis Research, the experts said: “Overall, cannabis use tends to have a positive influence on perceived sexual functioning and satisfaction despite gender or age and cannabis might help to decrease gender disparities in sexual pleasure.”
