East Africa’s first stop of the African Throne World Tour is the city of Nairobi. Two international African Hiphop stars Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest have put together a tour celebrating their greatest hits that cuts across multiple countries.
The two rappers are making their second stop of the tour in Nairobi on September 2 at the Winning Post, Ngong Racecourse. Powered by Desperados Tequila Beer, the event is aimed at celebrating African HipHop.
This year, HipHop marks its 50th year milestone globally. To celebrate this, the African Throne World Tour that will be taking place in various countries across the globe. The event is also targeted to bringing excitement in the world of entertainment and re-introduce Desperados Tequila beer into the Kenyan market.
Other Kenyan acts that will take to the stage include Jackk Quill, Saisa Ndabi, Mask, Steph Kapela and Boutross and DJs Will the DJ, DJ Mura, Mixmaster Lenny, DJ TM, Shema and Kaneda.
“Shortlisting Nairobi as one of the countries for the African Throne Tour showcases the African unity in the HipHop culture by creating a platform linking Kenyan and South African acts. “I think everyone one the line has a unique connection to this show I can’t imagine fulfilling this purpose without them,” Says African Throne Tour- Kenya production manager Wendy Wangui.
