Father Christmas uses quantum entanglement to deliver presents across the world.
The UK Government’s Chief Scientific Adviser Dame Angela McLean has revealed Santa’s scientific secrets in a “leaked” conversation with the Science, Innovation and Technology Secretary Michelle Donelan.
She said in the video: “I’m not sure if you’ve been briefed on this. I expect you know you are aware Santa Claus is very up with the tech.
“Obviously he can’t break the laws of physics, but there are some things that we think he may well be using to help him in that important work of getting a present to every child around the world.”
McLean continued: “So what we think he’s doing is he gets toys he’s made at the North Pole and puts them into this special state, it’s called an entangled state, and what that means is that when the first child opens a present on Christmas morning that ensures that every child all over the world is going to get a present.
“So that’s because he’s used this very special connection between things that we know can happen, from quantum physics, called entanglement.”
McLean was also recorded saying how it is imperative that children go to bed early on Christmas Eve to avoid ruining Santa’s complex method.
