Kikuyu superstar crooner and Benga maestro Samidoh is not one to play with. The Mugiithi star recently concluded a record 26-stop performance circuit in a record 30 days, a feat that not many performers could pull off.
The festive season run saw the Toxic Love singer traverse at least 7 counties together with his band, between December and January 4., turning the festive season into his bona fide traversing different regions, majorly in the Central and Rift Valley regions.
The Double-Header (Dec 7)
One of the most talked-about days was early in the month when he pulled off two major shows in one day—starting at the Kavagara Fest in Embu Stadium and racing to The Tide in Kiambu Town for a night performance.
The Christmas Peak
While most people were resting, Samidoh was in “overdrive.” He performed on Christmas Eve(Naivasha), Christmas Day (Nyahururu), and Boxing Day (Molo).
The Grand Finale
He officially closed the circuit on January 4, 2026, at the popular Quiver Lounge in Kenol, Murang’a, to a capacity crowd.
Impact & Upper Echelon Status
This otherworldly run speaks to not only Samidoh’s stamina and epic work ethic, but also proves his cemented place in the industry as a top tier artist in terms of market dominance. Moreover, the tour is significant as it’s his first major run since his high-profile exit from the National Police Service. It signals his transition into being a full-time, 24/7 entertainer.
After the final show, Samidoh posted a “Thank You” message to his fans and specifically his band, acknowledging the toll: “I can’t thank you enough for the incredible love… to my band, thank you for surviving the endless road trips, late nights, and back-to-back performances.”
