Seattle Seahawks player Russell Wilson has gone all out to celebrate his mother this Mother’s Day.
The professional football player had a special day planned for his mother Tammy T. Wilson. Recently named one of the highest paid players in football, it seems Russell’s $140 million signing with the Seahawks is going to good use as he treats those closest to him. The Mother’s Day celebrations saw Wilson and the family pull up to a brand new home in Seattle suburbia. His wife Ciara, daughter Sienna and 2 family members were also present for the special occasion.
According to a post on his social media account, Russell went on to hand a bunch of keys to his mother Tammy and shared the news that it was actually her house, to which his mother went on to cry, overwhelmed by the gesture. As the second son to Tammy and Harrison II Wilson, Wilson has continued to receive great support from his mother. Russell’s great, big gesture was a long time coming as he admitted his mother never asked him for anything.
In a touching post, Wilson wrote ” All these years you have never asked me for anything… the only thing you ever wanted is for me to LOVE. Well, thanks for loving us the way you do. This one for you. I love you, momma.”
Russell capped off Mother’s Day weekend, throwing a surprise album release party for his wife Ciara. Lots of family and friends were in attendance as they celebrated Ciara’s 6th studio album ‘Beauty Marks.’
