Ringtone arrested, after he was caught outside Co-operative University ‘looking for a wife’

Attention-seeker Ringtone is back at it again, but this time the police are not playing into his games.

Ringtone was arrested by the police earlier today(10.06.2019) while leaving the vicinity of the Co-operative University in Karen. The Gospel singer is known for his songs such as “Talanta”, “This Year” and his 2017 collaboration with Gloria Muliro “Wacha Iwe.” But it seems that the one-time highly respected Gospel artist has resorted to silly gimmicks and social media banter to gain the attention of Kenyans.

According to his social media account, Alex Apoko took to Instagram to share that he was stuck in the mud before later updating that he was outside of the varsity premises in search of a wife. In the images shared, Ringtone was holding up a sign that detailed the qualities he hoped his future wife should possess. The board mentioned “God-fearing, prayerful, hardworking and humble” among the most important traits hoped his future wife would have.

The bold move had him gain the attention of the local law enforcement officers, who promptly took him into custody for causing confusion and promoting prostitution. Apoko also shared a similar (if not the same board) on social media about a week ago on his Instagram page, to which many branded as another stunt to gain any attention that he could.

But K.O.T. is not letting Apoko go off scott free. Many have pointed out the silly move from the so-called Gospel singer, with some even rebuking him for the cry for attention.

Others went on to point out his poor grammar might be part of the reason the singer remains perpetually single.

Whether or not he may have been trying to seek the attention of K.O.T, it is clear that his approach to looking for a wife was misconstrued and completely unnecessary.

Ringtone open up a Tinder account? He might have more luck with online dating; do you agree?
