However, his attempt at asking forgiveness was met with mixed emotions. While some bigged him up for taking the step to publicly show his remorse others like fellow celeb and colleague at the station Patricia Kihoro roasted him.

According to Kihoro’s comments on Instagram, she felt that his apology was half-hearted as he wrote “Sorry you’re offended” instead of being just sorry. Didge went ahead to reply to Kihoro and threw some shade at her for correcting him in public so as to fuel the rage of the situation.

As reported by The Sauce, Didge a presenter at the popular radio station and singer was suspended by the radio station after his comments left a bad taste on his listeners mouth. He aired out his insensitive comments live on air while some of his co-hosts laughed at his ‘tasteless’ jokes and puns.

The had comments received massive backlash on Twitter where the radio presenter was one of the top trending topics of the day with many condemning his actions and asking for his ‘removal’ from the air. Something that the radio station went ahead to do and announced to the public through a press release.
