Nyashinski Announces Sophomore Album ‘Yariasu’ with Release Of Pre-Order Single ‘P.I.C (Partner In Crime)

Nyashinski, one of East Africa’s most celebrated artists. unveils “P.I.C (Partner In Crime)”, the second single off his forthcoming sophomore album ,‘Yariasu’, dropping on 19th September. The track opens the album’s pre-order phase, marking a pivotal step in Nyashinski’s journey to elevate East African music onto the global stage.

This moment builds on the legacy of his critically acclaimed debut album ‘Lucky You’ (2020), released at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The no-features album offered a soundtrack of resilience and hope during a time of global uncertainty, cementing Nyashinski’s reputation as an artist with both cultural depth and mass appeal.

With ‘Yariasu’, Nyashinski now sets his sights on elevating East Africa onto the global stage. The opening line of “P.I.C (Partner In Crime)” declares: “I always knew East Africa would be on top of the world”—a bold statement underscoring his ambitions beyond borders.

‘P.I.C (Partner In Crime)’ is a love anthem woven with smooth melodies, heartfelt lyricism, and a universal theme of connection. It showcases Nyashinski’s signature blend of storytelling and emotional resonance, while signaling his intent to make a lasting mark on the global music landscape.

Speaking on the release, Nyashinski says:
“My fans have been patiently waiting for new music, and with this album I wanted to give them more than just songs—I wanted to give them a vision. ‘P.I.C’ is a celebration of love and unity, but it’s also a statement that East African music belongs on the world stage. ‘Yariasu’ is me doubling down on that mission!”

Christine ‘Seven’ Mosha, Head of Sony Music Eastern Africa, adds:
“Nyashinski is an artist who represents the very best of East African music—authentic, innovative, and globally resonant. With ‘Yariasu’, he builds on the foundation laid by Lucky You and positions himself as a cultural ambassador for the region. This release is not just about an album, it’s about putting East Africa firmly in the global music conversation.”

As anticipation builds, Nyashinski invites fans to pre-order ‘Yariasu’ while streaming “P.I.C (Partner In Crime),” a record that not only captures his artistry but also sets the tone for an album destined to define his next era.
