Normani Enlists Cardi B in raunchy Comeback single dubbed ‘wild side’

Normani is back from her lengthy hiatus, and with an RnB perfection record to boot.

Almost two years after she dropped Motivation and somewhat went into musical obscurity, the Fifth Harmony alum is back and if the reactions are anything to go by, the comeback was worth the wait. The singer dropped Wild Side earlier today, a raunchy RnB ballad with elaborate percussion elements featuring Cardi  B. The former X-Factor contestant croons about getting it on as she employs high-octane choreography throughout the racy Tanu-Muino directed video.

‘’This type sh*t have you wylin’/ Last minute trips to the Highlands…Pull up inside me, baby/F*ck a n*gga like oopsie-Daisy..’’ she sensually sings, further amping up the heat in the already-sexually explicit track. If your memory is not vague, you may remember the next-level choreography songstress showcased in the Motivation video. As if that was not spectacular enough, she takes it a myriad notches higher with Wild Side. She dances expertly in several scenes against flamboyant backdrops, further cementing her place as one of the most reputable new age performers.

The song sample’s one of Aaliyah’s hits, One in a Million, no less. This marks Normani’s return to the airwaves. Her last duet was Diamonds, a duet with Meghan Thee Stallion that appeared on the Birds of Prey soundtrack. Last year, she made a cameo on Cardi and Stallion’s WAP video.
