Rapper Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty is in trouble with the law yet again.
Petty has been handed a house arrest sentence by a federal judge in Los Angeles due to a violation of his three-year probation terms.

According to the document, Petty was captured on video making threatening remarks toward a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record. Meghann Cuniff, a legal affairs journalist who initially broke the news, stated on Twitter that the individual in question is Offset, Cardi B’s husband.
The court filing explains that Petty’s probation officer believes that placing him in the Location Monitoring Program will facilitate closer monitoring of his activities, restrict his movements, serve as a consequence for his non-compliance, and, ideally, encourage him to reflect on and reassess his current standing within the community.
Petty has consented to the modified terms and has waived the need for a personal appearance in court. Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald has ordered Petty to undergo up to 120 days of house arrest.
In July 2022, Petty received a sentence of one year under home confinement, in addition to three years of probation and a $55,000 fine, for his failure to register as a sex offender in California.
