Davido has been quite busy recently.
The Nigerian artist is on tour in the U.S.A, performing in Boston, Chicago, and New York. In a recent interview with Charlemagne the god and DJ Envy from The Breakfast Club in New York, Davido spilled all the tea on how he realised his dream as a singer.
The interview was a chance for “Assurance” crooner Davido, to share his life story and a few shocking facts came out of the animated interview. Here are the 3 takeaways from Davido’s interview:
1. The 25-year-old shared that his father went to great lengths to keep him from pursuing music; even involving the local police and government in Nigeria.
2. Davido also revealed that his father’s success never contributed his rise to the top, proudly declaring he did it all on his own.
3. The “Fall” singer also revealed that he had two daughters, and sold fake jewelry as a side hustle while in university.
