‘Real Housewives of Nairobi’ star Minne Kariuki is not one to take any prisoners or bite her tongue. In case anyone needed a reminder, she has demonstrated that all too well with her latest move.
After a video of the ‘Single Kiasi’ actress confessing to turning a former lover down owing to his choice of car gift to her made its rounds, the expectant mother has seemingly responded to the controversy it drew.
“From wanting an A-class to getting a Maybach ,we are women with standards ,if you can’t buy it don’t approach us. I am not bragging , I am just living,” She wrote alongside a flashy video of her flaunting the sleek German ride.
“I knew I didn’t like him when he gifted me a Toyota and all I wanted was a Mercedes,” She had told a local media outlet.
Earlier, Kariuki has shared a meme that read: “Pretending you don’t like money to impress men is wild,” Another possible not-so-cryptic response to the controversy her earlier statement elicited.
On the first season of Real Housewives of Nairobi, Kariuki larger-than-life lifestyle was displayed. Together with her entrepreneur husband Charles Muigai, the actress lives in a palatial home, drives top-of-the range cars, goes on dreamy vacations…the works!
The couple are currently expecting their second child together.
