Maina Kageni could play middleman as Magix Enga hopes to rework Wasafi’s ‘Quarantine’

Celebrated Kenyan radio personality Maina Kageni has reached out to Magix Enga, after he expressed his desire to sign Diamond Platnumz and all artistes signed under his Wasafi record label.

In a series of posts on Friday night, Magix noted that the Wasafi crew’s talent is lackluster at best. He specifically noted that he gained interest to sign the Wasafi crew led by Diamond, after listening to their latest hit on quarantine, which he noted was lacking. He said, “there is nothing like karantine!”

The talented producer took to social media pointing out the song is missing something, and the only way to salvage it is by him working together with Diamond. The said, “I want to sign the whole of Wasafi…we have better artists who can sing here in Kenya.”

Reacting to his posts, Maina Kageni noted that Diamond has been following Magix Enga’s work, and advised the producer to reach out to Diamond, or contact him (Maina Kageni) so that he can have the two of them work together, considering that he (Kageni) and Diamond are close friends.

@magix_enga call him, bro….. he’s a keen follower of your work!!!!!!! Or call me and let’s get the both of you together…..,” he posted.

Meanwhile, the Beat King is eager to see Diamond work with a Kenyan musician, including Khaligraph Jones, Otile Brown among others.
