Liverpool dance to Future’s ‘Extra Luv’ in post-Barca win celebrations

Liverpool recently pulled off one of the most iconic comebacks in Premier League Football.

The team which won their match against Spanish team Barcelona 4-0; celebrated their iconic with some ‘extra luv’. Feted for felling the giant Leonel Messi and the Barca team this week (7.05.2019), the team’s spirits were high as it became clear that they had just booked their place in the finals. An achievement many critics doubted.

The crew which featured injured Mohammed Salah, Forward Roberto Firmino, youngin’ Trent John Alexander-Arnold, a cheery 2-time goal scorer for the match Georginio Wijnaldum, as well as an overly excited Alexander Oxlade-Chamberlain exchanging pleasantries over the legendary win. The scene from the locker rooms was of humility and pure pride, as the team danced and sung; all drunk with happiness of the deciding deadly match.

Sadly the game changer Divock Origi is not seen in the video with his teammates. Origi who scored the last goal in the 79th minute, sealed the fate of Barca, making the game one that will remain in the history books for The Reds. But even without Origi’s presence, it seems the boys could not contain their excitement; blasting Future’s ‘Extra Luv’ on the speakers.  Salah is also heard saying he had already booked his ticket, which might indicate even he thought Liverpool would not have won the match.

The track ‘Extra Luv’ was released in June 2017. The collaboration between Atlanta native Future and rapper YG has garnered over 22M views on YouTube since its release.

Liverpool is set to clash against Tottenham in the Champions League on June 1st, 2019 at Estadio Metropolitano Stadium, Madrid.
