The Coronavirus pandemic has totally changed the entertainment scene and now virtual concerts are the way to go.
Capital FM Kenya presents The Koroga Festival mini-concert that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home.
The popular quarterly event will for the first time ever be staged as a virtual concert on Saturday (2nd of May 2020) featuring South Africaâs Distruction Boyz.
The concert will be streamed live on their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages on Saturday from 8pm.
âRight from the comfort of your home, the show will be live-streamed on the Koroga Festivalâs and 6AMâs pages in line with the World Health Organisation and the Ministry of Health guidelines for social distancing and ban on gathering,â the organisers said in a press release.
Distruction Boyz is a Gqom music duo from Durban, South Africa which consists of recording artists and record producers Thobani âQueâ Mgobhozi and Zipho âGoldmaxâ Mthembu.
Their debut album Gqom Is the Future was certified gold by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA) making it the first Gqom album to ever achieve this status.
Distruction Boyz known for their 2017 hit song âOmunyeâ performed in Nairobi, Kenya a year ago.
