King Kaka na Mayengs: Rapper King Kaka releases Round 3 featuring upcoming female rappers

Lyrical master King Kaka is back with a bevvy of soon to be rap queens in ‘Round 3.’

Last month Kenyan rap star Khaligraph Jones came through with his project dubbed Khali Cartel 3 featuring several upcoming rappers including Bey T and Rekles as well as the legendary Chiwawa. Now another top Kenyan rapper King Kaka has followed suit to release a track dubbed ‘Round 3’ today (04.10.19) with 5 female rappers.

The six-minute ‘Round 3′ is a sequel to King Kaka’s Ole Gang (Round 2) which was released in 2018. First up on this track is the punchline queen from Nakuru also known Silverstone Barz who recently featured on Papa Jones’ Khali Cartel 3. She does not waste time in letting everyone know who is queen and impresses with her lyrical prowess. Second is Tanzanian artist Frida Amani alias Queen Fifi who comes through with a seamless Swahili rap.

Known for featuring in Wakadinali’s 2019 hit ‘Morio Anzenza’ Dyana Cods comes in third and she is not mincing her words. She takes shots at rapper Bey T and Noti Flow who is a musician as well as a former reality TV star. She Flo is the real gangster and she asserts herself as high maintenance and transitions between Swahili, English and Kikuyu with ease, she also shouts out Chris Kirubi and Michael Jordan. Tilly wraps it up for the ladies and as much as she is tiny she has a fire in her and can spit rhymes with ease.

King Kaka comes in last and he does what he does best, spitting some conscious rhymes infused with his effortless style. In his three minute rap, the father of three tackles things like his position in the Kenyan rap scene, living fake lives and about his project ‘Bank On Me’ which helps distribute the much needed sanitary pads to teenage girls in various parts of the country so that they don’t have to miss school when they are on their periods.

This is not the first time King Kaka has featured an all-female crew in one of his tracks. In 2013, female rappers Wangeci, Femi One, Petra, Raz and Lyra Aoko.

Round 3 was produced by Provoke & The Other Guys. It was directed by Johnson Kyalo.
