Kenyans on X are concerned about the wellness and whereabouts of vocal activist Boniface Mwangi.
The whistleblower posted somewhat of a distress message on his social platforms, only to end to deactivating them all shortly afterwards. “There is nothing selfish about suicide. Someone gets to a
stage in life, and they decide this is it for them. They’re
ready for the next world. The pain, troubles, and
expectations of others in this world is too much. They exit
the stage. Celebrate their life. End of story,” Read the cryptic message whose screenshots are currently doing the rounds on social media.
Kenyans on X cannot help but be in panic mode fearing for the activist’s safety. Here are some sample tweets:
Boniface Mwangi has deactivated his accounts and we can’t get hold of him too especially after the post he made. I spoke to him juzi asked if he was okay and he mentioned how the attacks are always getting to him and my heart is so broken for him. Why are some of yall genuinely…

Sometimes when the government/deep state/CIA etc want to murder a person, they stage it to look like suicide complete with a suicide note. That is why everything should be done to ascertain if Boniface Mwangi wrote that tweet himself and whether he is okay.

The little I know about Boniface Mwangi is his strong conviction. He is not the type to give up easily. At least, not at the level of contemplating suicide. I just hope he deactivated his social media accounts under duress. I am certain he is alright @marthakarua @WMutunga pic.twitter.com/sCw02gQU9m
