Kenyans on Twitter, infamously known as KOT are all up in arms against radio personality Kamene Goro after her tone-deaf post caught the eyes of many.
Earlier this morning, the voluptuous presenter and influencer posted an insensitive post, blatantly mocking mental health – a matter of profound gravity. ‘’Mental health na hamna akili, ‘’ read the bizarre post, backed by a laughing emoji.

KOT almost promptly noticed the post and it was all downhill from there, suffice to say. ‘’We need to talk about mental health because people like Kamene Goro don’t understand it, ‘’ There is nothing funny about joking about mental health. There is already too much stigma towards people who are undergoing mental health challenges. Use your platform for the better, ‘’ read some of the tweets from visibly infuriated people.
This post by Kamene Goro has since been deleted. I would however like to tell Kamene that there is nothing funny about making fun of Mental Health. There is already too much Stigma towards people who are undergoing mental health challenges. Use your platform for the better. pic.twitter.com/X8GBA6klRr

Twitter is awash with trolls and critics alike calling out the presenter, a lot of them using very derogatory language, as is characteristic of KOT. As of now, she is yet to comment, but she has since deleted the post from her Instagram. Screenshots of it are noticeably in grave circulation so that may not have salvaged her much. While most of the twitter users are body-shaming who is hitherto trending at #1 on the platform, others are a tad sympathetic. ”You don’t have to body-shame Kamene goro to make a point. Just pass your message without body-shaming her. You are not doing any better, ” tweeted user Bravin Yuri.
Here are some of the reactions:

The same energy they used busily to castigate Shaffie Weru & DJ Joe Mfalme & ensured they're sacked. The same should be also used to call out Kamene Goro until afutwe iyo kazi but since she's a woman mnadraw the line mkijificha underline mkisema ati we are bodyshaming.. NTK!!!
