Kaka Empire And Bio Foods Unveil New Cooking Show Dubbed ‘Let Him Cook’

Bio Food Products Ltd, in partnership with Kaka Empire, yesterday officially launched the highly anticipated cooking show Let Him Cook, hosted by celebrated artist and entrepreneur King Kaka. The event was held at the Bio Food Products Ltd, bringing together media, and partner organization’s – Highlands Drinks Ltd and Ma Cuisine Ltd, for a taste of what the show will offer.

Let Him Cook is a bold, creative collaboration designed to spotlight the evolving role of men in the kitchen while celebrating Kenyan food, and authentic storytelling. The show will feature a vibrant mix of celebrity guests from Kenya’s entertainment, business, and creative industries, brought together by one shared love — food.

“This is not just a cooking show,” said King Kaka. “It is a space where culture, conversation, and creativity meet in the kitchen. We are telling our stories through food, and I am excited to do that with brands that value quality, health, and authenticity.”

In his remarks, Joachim Westerveld, Group CEO of Bio Foods, Highlands, and Ma Cuisine emphasized the companies’ commitment to food safety, quality and commitment to trust, integrity, and excellence. “Now more than ever, it matters who makes your food and how it’s made. We are proud to bring together brands that operate with the highest safety and quality standards, ensuring every ingredient on Let Him Cook is trustworthy, healthy, and truly Kenyan.” He added, “We are proud to partner with King Kaka on a show that celebrates real food and real stories.”

Guests at the event enjoyed a behind-the-scenes factory tour, a curated taste experience of the companies’ products, with the event concluding with the official signing of the partnership contract between King Kaka and Bio Foods, Highlands, and Ma Cuisine, sealing a powerful collaboration.

To mark the rollout of the show, an exclusive watch party will be held on Monday, 19th May 2025, where invited guests will view the first episode ahead of the public release. From then on, Let Him Cook episodes will air every Monday at 8:00 PM on King Kaka’s official YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/@theonlykingkaka?si=Ik1pFmHRoMDcJgoj
