Nigerian star Davido and his family are a happy lot following the recovery of his fiancé from Coronavirus.
23 days after her diagnosis, Davido’s wife to be and mother of his son Chioma Rowland alias Chef Chi is free from the viral respiratory disease that has shut down the world.
The artist shared the news recently, stating that she tested negative twice for the virus, after testing positive for the virus last month.
The ‘Assurance’ hitmaker also posted about the outpouring of support and well-wishes they received upon announcing Chef Chi’s results. “Thank you for all the prayers,” wrote Davido. “We love you.”
As reported by The Sauce in March 2020, Davido shared that Chioma had tested positive after he and 31 members of his team got tested following trips abroad.
Chioma who had traveled from London was the only person to test positive and went into self-isolation following the diagnoses, according to the artist.
Davido shared an update on her status later that month, stating that she was “perfectly fine” and showing no symptoms.
The 27-year-old was forced to postpone the North American leg of his “A Good Time” tour due to the coronavirus outbreak.
