Beauty entrepreneur and influencer Michelle Ntalami has opened up about her relationship and heart break.
In a 3-part and long-captioned Instagram announcement, the Marini Naturals mogul makes the revelation in what she says is in her quest to stand by the truth.
She says that this follows what were many questions and suspicions as regards her status and that of someone who she refers as ‘them,’ adding she gets questioned relentless times why they do not interact anymore, both off and online.
“This year, more and more people began noticing that them and I are interacting less, both online and offline. Wherever I go, I am asked about them and why we are apart, including right here online, which is why I am addressing it on the very same platform,” she writes.
Ntalami further expounds that they serially cheated, which is what prompted their break up. “The truth of the matter of why we are no longer together is serial infidelity on their part with multiple partners. Those I suspected and confirmed are two individuals; one a public figure, and the other a less known married woman, a health worker. Eventually, these individuals undoubtedly confirmed the above. I attach screenshots and my responses simply to alleviate denial,” she confirms.
Ntalami goes on to state that the deceit and lies spewed during the relationship have taken a toll on her mentally and emotionally for almost a year, which she says was deteriorated by ‘them’s’ unwillingness to admit and apologize. “As soon they knew I found out, they fled, occasionally popping in and out of my life but never once with the truth. This has caused me immense mental and emotional pain. This explains the unfollows and disengagement on social media and socially, “ she continues.
Divulging that she feels used and that she is still grappling with the devastation of it all, she says she is working towards forgiving ‘them,’ thanking family, friends and followers for “riding hard for them and I.” She then thanks the LGBTQ+ community for supporting them, admitting she feels awful that they too were lied to, just like she was.
“To them; I loved you truly, deeply and loyally. I didn’t deserve the deceit and dishonesty. But I choose to focus on how boldly we loved, the beautiful experiences we shared, the impact we had and the lives we touched. When the right time comes, I wish you even more love. This is the first time that hair product line owner has publicly addressed her long rumoured relationship with former BBC journalist Chris Njeri alias Makena.
Before it all went downhill, the two were all the rave about town, posting pictures together at events, vacations, nights out and all.
Fans speculated that all was not well after eagle-eyed ones pointed out that they were hanging out and interacting less, both off and on social media.
