Forget the torn Balenciaga sneakers that had social media in a meltdown a few days ago. Two other luxury brands have teamed up to produce yet another controversial product.
Adidas and Gucci have linked up to produce a new edition of colorful umbrellas to be sold in China that have people talking. The umbrellas reportedly cost a whopping $1300 and are, get this…not waterproof! Instead, it is only meant for sun protection. The umbrella features a carved birch-wood handle, green-red web and a G-shaped handle.

“Please note, this item is not waterproof and is meant for sun protection or decorative use,” Gucci says, ahead of the official launch of the umbrellas on June 7.
