Grant’s Global Ambassador Danny Dyer Hosts Inaugural Triplewood Sessions

On Thursday 1st December 2021, Nairobi played host to the launch of the newly established Grant’s Whisky’s “Triple Good Sessions” at Bao Box, an event powered by AfricaCentric Entertainment.

The evening-long experience was launched at the expansive and lavish board game cafe tucked in the heart of Westlands bringing together three of Kenya’s emerging and established DJs: DJ Kaneda, DJ John Rabar and DJ Grauchi for an unprecedented 3-hour thrilling live DJ experience.

Representing the three famous woods of Sherry Cask, American Oak and Refill Bourbon, the three DJs each adopted a flavor and themed their exciting sets distinctly to match casks taste and vibe before blending together for an engrossing mash up to peak the night.

Speaking on the one of its kind experience in Kenya William Grant & Sons’ Prestige On-Trade Manager in East Africa, Kariuki Mukii said “At Grants all good things start with three. A Triple Good Session event has to look good, sound good and taste good. Its purpose is to showcase our brand’s values and beliefs to like-minded individuals and connect them to experiences that enhance their lives. It’s an expression of the brand and invites guests to celebrate their success, together. At its core, it’s an environment that enables individuals to interact and networking in one place and possibly kick-start relationships that will last a lifetime. #TogetherWeMakeIt #GrantsKE”

Launching the experience was the charismatic Grant’s Whisky Global Ambassador Danny Dyer making his second return to Kenya after a momentous stay in 2018 when he flew in for the launch of the Triple Wood 12 range. The live DJ experience is set to become a recurring premium experience meshing some of the top Kenyan party starters while creating a community of music, style and whisky lovers.

The session was graced by a crew of celebrities and industry leaders tapped from media, music and lifestyle, these included Mwalimu Rachel, DJ Pinye, Boutross, Shaq The Youngin, Noni Gathoni, Martin Kimathi, Kerry Martin, Benzema and many more. The experience was curated to immerse Kenyans further into the world of Grant’s whisky, welcome the global ambassador home as well as showcase its new gold accented matte black bottle that was the light of the party!
