Gear Up For A Star Studded Walker Town Headlined By American Rapper Lauryn Hill, Nyashinski, And Rema

Nairobi is set for a major musical event as Walker Town returns on September 28th and 29th at Laureate Gardens at the Kasarani Stadium.

Sponsored by Johnnie Walker, this edition promises to deliver an unforgettable experience, headlined by a diverse lineup of international and local music icons. The concert will feature the legendary American singer Lauryn Hill, Nigerian Afrobeat star Rema, Kenya’s very own Nyashinski and Bien, and British rapper Arrdee.

Lauryn Hill, known for her groundbreaking work with The Fugees and her Grammy-winning solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, will take the stage as the main act on Day 2 alongside the ‘Mungu Pekee’ hitmaker Nyashinski. Fans can expect a mix of her timeless classics such as “Ex-Factor” and “Doo Wop (That Thing),” in what will surely be a soulful, powerful performance.

Nyashinski, one of Kenya’s most respected and versatile artists, will represent the home crowd with a set that showcases his unique blend of rap, Afrobeat, and soul. Known for hits like “Malaika,” “Lucky You,” and “Marathon Runner,” Nyashinski’s performance is expected to be a highlight of the night, embodying the best of Kenya’s musical talent.

Day one of the event will see performances from Nigerian Afrobeat sensation Rema, Kenya’s Bien (of Sauti Sol), and British rapper Arrdee. Rema, known for his chart-topping hits like “Calm Down,” will bring his infectious Afrobeat energy to the stage. Bien, a celebrated Kenyan vocalist, will thrill fans with his soulful sounds and captivating stage presence. Arrdee, the rising British rapper behind hits like “Oliver Twist,” will add his unique flair, making day one a mix of Afrobeat, soulful ballads, and dynamic rap.
