Rumours of the demise of DJ Evolve are false his family has confirmed.
According to sources, the family of Felix Orinda alias DJ Evolve has said that he is alive and doing well.
This morning (08.06.2021), rumours that disc jockey succumbed to his injuries spread like wildfire on social media making it a trending topic.
As reported by The Sauce in early 2020, DJ Evolve was allegedly shot at by Embakassi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino at his place of work in Kilimani.
After the incident, CCTV footage emerged, showing Babu Owino drawing his gun and shooting at the entertainer inside the popular club known as B Club. This caused an uproar from Kenyans on social media asking for the arrest of the Member of Parliament.
The politician was later arrested and charged with attempted murder but was shortly released on a Ksh 10 million cash bail which was to help settle Evolve’s medical bills but was reduced to kshs 5 million.
With the matter still in court, Orinda is currently recuperating at their home in Fedha Estate after being discharged from Nairobi Hospital.
In February 2021, his father John Orinda told the media that his son was really suffering and was always in pain due to the bullet that got stuck in his brain.
