Diamond Platnumz’s elder sister Queen Darleen married as a second wife

Diamond Platnumz’s step-sister Queen Darleen has finally tied the knot with the love of her life.

Darleen shared a picture of herself in bridal attire hugging her new husband, whom she identifies as Isihaka Mtoro.

She chose a flowered embroidered gown in shades of green and white. The colour green is usually worn during the Nikah wedding ceremony which symbolises the taking of vows by both the bride and the groom.

The ‘Kijuso’  hitmaker has been very secretive about her romantic relationships and the wedding came as a surprise to many of her fans as well as her family.

“#alhamdulillah Official Mrs Isihaka Mtoro,” posted Queen Darleen on Instagram.

Diamonds mother, Bi Sandra, was among the people who congratulated Queen Darleen on her nuptials.
“Naikumbuka Simu Yako Ya Jana Asubui Na Hakika Mungu Ametimiza Mlichokiamua Asubui Ile…. Mashaalah Mashaalah Mashaalah @queendarleen_ Ndoa iwe na amani inshaallah,” wrote Bi Sandra.

Esma Platnumz also congratulated her sister for officiating her relationship with the love of her life.

The newlyweds had dated for a little over a year before getting married. In a recent interview with Wasafi TV, the songstress whose real name is Mwanajuma Abdul Juma revealed that she is happy being a second wife as a Muslim man can marry up to four wives.  She also said her wedding was arranged which meant that most of her family members like her mother Mama Dangote, brother Diamond Platnumz and sister Esma Platnumz were not able to attend.

Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee and Wasafi’s Lava Lava are among the celebrities who have since congratulated the beauty on her marriage.

Queen Darleen’s music career began in the year 2000 and released her first song ‘Wajua Nakupenda’ featuring Alikiba in 2006.

The newly married musician has a son named Rooney, who was born in 2005.
