Renowned Ellen Show DJ, dancer-cum-executive producer Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss has died by apparent suicide aged 40.
The dancer, choreographer, actor and executive producer died by suicide on Tuesday December, 13 as confirmed by a representative as well as his wife Allison Holker-Boss.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans,” Read a statement from Allison in part.
According to a Los Angeles County medical examiner and as first reported by TMZ, tWitch died in a Los Angeles hotel room. Prior to joining The Ellen Degeneres Show in 2014 where he rose to prominence achieving executive producer in 2013, tWitch got his big break on the hit Fox Show So You Think You Can Dance.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, tWitch and Allison entertained their followers with innumerable dance and choreography videos together, all while documenting their almost picture-perfect family life.
tWitch and Allison met on So You Think You Can Dance when they were both contestants in 2010 and would later get married and have three kids together.
