Charity begins at home as French Montana kicks off preschool initiative in Morocco

French Montana is giving back in his home country of Morocco.

In this new project, American rapper French has teamed up with Sabae School of Fida-Mers Sultan to bring preschools to Morocco. He has donated enough money to the program to fund two brand new classrooms full of supplies and other classroom necessities that would sustain the schools for a few years.

This isn’t the first time that the rapper has shown his efforts to give back. In March, he raised $500,000 to Suubi Hope health center, in Uganda which services 300,000 people in need. The project was initially intended to solely help pregnant women, but after receiving several donations, the 33-year-old decided to expand the project.

The ‘Unforgettable’ hitmaker whose real name Karim Kharbouch was born in Rabat, Morocco but his family immigrated to the United States when he was only 13 years old.

In 2017, French shot two of his hit songs from his album ‘Jungle Rules’ in Africa, ‘Unforgettable in Uganda and ‘Famous’ in Morocco.
