Bybit Launches Scholarship Program To Support College And University Students In Kenya And Ethiopia

Bybit, second largest cryptocurrency exchange globally
in trading volume, today announced the launch of the Bybit Scholarship Program, a new corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative designed to empower college and university students in Kenya and Ethiopia.


The program offers scholarships of up to USD 4,000 to support students in pursuing their academic and professional goals. Through this initiative, Bybit reaffirms its commitment to education, youth development, and inclusive technological growth across Africa; recognizing education as a cornerstone of innovation, social progress, and economic growth.


Event Period: September 17, 2025 – October 17, 2025
How to Participate:

  1. Record a short video (maximum 3 minutes) introducing yourself, your university, and your area of study.
  2. Explain how the Bybit Scholarship would help you achieve your goals.
  3. Post the video on X (tag @BybitAfrica) or TikTok (tag @Bybit.Africa) with the hashtags

  2. Speaking on the scholarship program, Wilson Ogheneovo, Africa Regional Manager at Bybit said, “Africa’s young population is the driving force behind the continent’s innovation and growth. By investing in their education, we are not only supporting individual students but also contributing to building a stronger and more inclusive digital economy for the future.”

  3. The initiative seeks to support atleast 100 students giving funding from USD.100 (kes 12,900) to USD.4,000 (KES.516,000).
    The Bybit Scholarship Program reflects the company’s broader mission of empowering communities through access to knowledge, skills, and opportunities in the digital economy.
