Bonke Ke Discusses Content Creation, Current Projects And Thinking Global

Bonke is one of the most renowned creators in the Nairobi scene. Dabbling in funny and informative content, he has grown in strides, having worked with at least 35 different brands last year alone.

“My style and way of creating speaks for itself. I’m a storyteller to the core, though I wouldn’t say I’m better than anyone, but my presentation kind of sets me apart from the rest of the park but I’m happy that that works for me,” He says.

He has his eyes set on collaborating with more brands this year, especially global ones. “I want to get out of my comfort zone and see what the other side of the world has to offer,” He reckons.

He empahises on the need for diversified revenue streams, especially as the campaign and electioneering season starts.

Collaboration with Boniface Nyagah on Valentine’s Safari

Bonke’s latest project is a collaboration with showbiz and PR guru Boniface Nyagah. “We are doing a Valentine’s safari in Kenya. It will be geared towards showcasing the very scenic side of our country, something that I feel has not been celebrated enough. We are inviting the whole world – whether couples or singles – to come and celebrate themselves. It will be a 6-day adventure, with each particular day designated for a unique experience. It will be a first of its own,” Says Nyagah, alias the Crown Prince of Nairobi.

The adventure will entail, among others, a visit to a coffee farm in Kiambu, a game drive at Nairobi National Park, visit the beaches by Lake Victoria..the works!

Think Global

“Creatives and non-creatives alike ought to think global,” insists Nyagah, citing his experiences working with different global brands as examples. “Why would you limit yourself to an audience and what you can cater to an even much bigger one?” He questions in conclusion.
