Behind The Scenes : Mr & Miss World Kenya; what does it take to represent Kenya

There is a new Mr. and Miss World Kenya in town.

The star-studded event was hosted by Capital FM’s own former beauty queen Angela Muiruri at the Two Rivers Mall on Saturday 5th October 2019. The annual event saw Franklyn Herbert Asoyo and Wavinya Maria crowned Mr and Miss World Kenya. The youngest contestant participating in the event, Wavinya wears the crown at age 18. The Mount Kenya University student from Nyandarua County is set to begin work on her ‘Beauty With a Purpose’ project soon, assisting the helpless and needy in the Kenyan society. Electronic Engineering degree holder Herbert Asoyo also spoke to about his boot camp experience and shared his dreams for what lays ahead for him as Mr. World Kenya. The duo was part of 40 individuals to attend a two-week boot camp in the run-up to the Mr and Miss World Kenya finals.

The Sauce visited with the Mr. and Miss World Kenya contestants in the run up to the final and got to interact with contestants before the big day. Check out their interview below.
