Anguka Nayo! Azziad Nasenya Addresses Paris Olympics Delegation Rumours

In a candid press statement shared on Instagram, internet sensation Azziad Naisenya, has addressed recent rumours regarding her involvement with the Kenya Delegation to the Paris Olympics 2024.

Azziad firmly denied the allegations, stating unequivocally that she is not part of the delegation.

The rumour mill had been abuzz with speculation about Azziad’s association with the Olympics, prompting her to set the record straight. “I want to make it very clear that I am not part of the Kenya Delegation to the Paris Olympics 2024,” Azziad stated in her post.

She highlighted that the false rumours had taken a toll, and she felt it was necessary to clarify her position publicly.

The radio presenter went on to explain her involvement with the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy, and Sports as a member of the Creative Technical Committee of the Talanta Hela Council, a body aimed at fostering talent and creativity in Kenya. She noted that when the committee was disbanded in 2023, it marked the end of her formal involvement with the ministry.

The press statement also touched on her travel history, particularly a trip to Dubai last year, which had been a focal point of the rumours. Azziad clarified that this trip was sponsored by a client for the #DiscoverDubai campaign, aiming to promote tourism and cultural exchange. “My trip to Dubai was fully sponsored by my client who wanted me to campaign for the #DiscoverDubai initiative. It was not funded by the Government of Kenya, as some have speculated,” she affirmed.
