Popular Kenyan actress Minne Kariuki Njuguna and her husband Charles Muigai alias Lugz are expecting their third child together.
The lovebirds took to social media to announce the good news that they would soon be welcoming their rainbow baby on their anniversary. Accompanied by several baby bump pictures at the beach.
“Happy anniversary to us @lugzkenya We are expecting our rainbow 🌈 baby. We are thankful, overjoyed, grateful, and blessed,” posted Minne.
The reality TV star revealed that she is in her third trimester and added, “We have been praying, fasting and God has answered our prayer. Isaiah 40:31 “We need to trust in God’s perfect timing to lift us and carry us forward. Indeed God has carried us forward. I want to encourage all those in the season of waiting, God will fulfill all that he has promised you, trust and believe in him.”
The couple revealed during an episode of Real Housewives of Nairobi in 2023 that they had suffered a miscarriage.
A rainbow baby is a name coined for a healthy baby born after losing a baby due to miscarriage, infant loss, stillbirth, or neonatal death.
