Kigen Moi, son of Gideon Moi got married to his fiancee Rebecca Chepchumba at a private traditional wedding ceremony known as Koito in Kericho County on Saturday.
Koito involves dowry negotiations with the families of the groom and the bride coming to an agreement and blessing the union.
The lavish ceremony was attended by high-profile guests and celebrities including radio personality Kwambox, musician Dr Reign and singer wife Dela among many others.
Moi took to Twitter to congratulate Kigen and wished him and his wife God’s guidance and blessings.
“I am proud of my son Kigen Moi for making a monumental stride in this life by seeking Rebecca Chepchumba’s hand in marriage. Indeed, this engagement is a beautiful social and spiritual venture ordained by God to ensure companionship and continuity,” Gideon said.
The University of Bristol graduate is the director of Sosian Energy Power Limited.
