Samidoh Brings Benga Goodness To WRC Koroga Festival

To say that Day 2 of the WRC Koroga festival was epic would be an understatement.

To start you off, popular jockey Kriss Darlin got the crowd on and ready for the evening of mega entertainment. With a set laden with smash reggae and dancehall hits, there was no one better to get the night started.

Next came the headline of the night – Samidoh! The hitmaker had the crowd roaring as soon as he stepped on stage. Backed by two background singers, instrumentalists and his guitar, the singer took the crowd through a musical journey of his major hits, as they sang along in unison.

Samidoh would further go ahead and perform hit covers of fellow Kikuyu Benga singers and the thrilled crowd loved it even more. With no breaks in-between or interludes, he performed for an entire two hours. Still, the audience visibly yearned for more.

Capital FM mixmaster DJ Roudge hopped in next and did what he does best – pull a crowd with bangers. That, he did and then some! With emcee Wanjira Longauer hyping the crowd up, an actual ensued.

This is a sign for you to not live vicariously through another review and come experience the goodness that is Koroga Festival.
