The 26th edition of the popular Koroga Festival brought to you by Capital FM is coming soon on the 6th and 7th of July 2017 at a new venue, Tatu City.
Day one of the Festival, Saturday 6th July 2019 will feature young Kenyan hitmakers Ethic Crew and Gwaash who have been ruling the airwaves for the past year with their heavily laden sheng lyrics, sexual slang and popular dance moves. Capital FM deejays, Jo Kisila, Dj Roudge and Dj Joe Mfalme will be on the decks.
Ethic Crew who rose to fame in 2018 with their hit ‘Lamba Lolo’ have for the past year been embroiled in controversies but have also managed to give most top Kenyan artists a run for their money with their widely popular songs such as ‘New Position’ with The Kansoul, ‘Instagram’ and ‘Pandana’. All of these hits have over one million views on YouTube with two of the songs hitting close to 4 million views.
On the other hand Gwaash who is popularly known as Fat Boy Gwaash is one of the masterminds behind the new age hits such as ‘Sponyo’, ‘Katambe’, Toto Si Toto’, ‘Wabebe’ and his recent collabo with ‘Krimino’ hitmakers Ochungulo Family dubbed ‘Aluta’ which are receiving airplay across many platforms. The songs have since garnered thousands of views on YouTube.
