5 habits you can develop during your snooze time in 2019

Most people put their alarms on snooze; to avoid the realities of a new week.

But every time you press the snooze button, you a steal a little more time from yourself to have a more productive day. The Bible says, “A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man.”

Here are a few ways you could use your snooze time:

1. Meditation

It is an important habit to gather your thoughts and set your intentions for the day. A few minutes of meditation could be the winning element to creating the right mental environment for you to reach your goals.

2.Knowledge development in an area of your choice

The internet is a great pool of knowledge. You could use various resources from podcasts to streamed radio shows to online courses to improve your knowledge on certain areas. If you are keen on self-development and are always on the quest for self-improvement, taking time to learn something new is vital.

3.Exercise

Nothing gets you feeling strong and ready to take on the world as an early morning workout. To be honest, the good endorphins you gain from a quick and easy workout could turn around your mood and cause a chain reaction that could see you attain all you set out to do on any given day.

4. Pray

Prayer and peace of mind go hand in hand. Taking your time to meet with your Maker can not only ensure you enjoy peace of mind. Take time to say your prayers and repeat your affirmations; a little positivity is a great way to start your day.

5.Create your gratitude list

It is vital to count your blessings. In fact, a gratitude list not only helps you increase your awareness of how incredibly lucky you are but also tends to humble you. Getting to know what you have, and what you want for yourself could improve your productivity spurring you to work with your goals in mind.
