If you are young and fabulous and in the market for the partner there are several things we could all learn from the unfortunate end to one of Kenya’s most famed couple. Natalie Tewa and Ugandan hunk were the talk of the town as allegations of infidelity and broken trust surfaced online. According to an article by The Sauce Rnaze was away in Uganda for 4 days only to come back and find his girlfriend in a compromising situation. He wrote on Instagram stories, “She cheated, I ended it. Came back from UG to a terrible surprise. I was only gone for 4 days.”

In the midst of the very public break, we should all take time and take note of a few lessons:

1. Keep Your Personal Matters Personal

The YouTube couple paraded their relationship online, sharing every aspect of it with their audience. The dynamic duo even shared when they were intimate and peppered their on-camera dialogue with sexual innuendos to keep up the illusions that their relationships was loving and well-established.

However, as the duo decided to call it quits they used the same social media to air their dirty laundry, which was totally unnecessary. Natalie has been recently named in the Most Influential Young Kenyans list early in 2019 according to an article by The Sauce. With a cross-platform following of over 365,000 followers, she is quite popular; creating a targetted audience for her content. Sadly she chose to share the details of her break up online, and it did her no good. Instead, her name was plastered on the blogs as she became the topic of conversation in every street corner and on the shadiest corners of the internet. This proves that we should always keep private matters private. It is important to be aware that not everyone wants to see you win and many are more than willing to celebrate your downfall.

2. Trust Is Earned

Trust is one of the most important aspects of a relationship and without it, you have nothing. As Natalie and Rnaze said on a previous YouTube video, one of the biggest components of their relationship is trust. However, it turns out that they may not have had it at all. At all times, it is vital that one should always deal with realities and not perceptions. You might trust someone, but they may not have earned it.

Rnaze cheated and to avenge the infidelity, Tewa did the same. Two wrongs do not make a right, and always remember if someone shows you who they believe them.

3. Once Bitten Twice Shy

In a relationship, it might be difficult to break things off, especially if you truly loved your partner. However, it is essential to learn to put yourself first. Tewa was cheated on, and according to the tea on The Sauce Rnaze was physically abusive towards the young Kenyan belle.

Always put yourself first. No love or money is worth your safety.
