Yara Shahidi partners with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.
American actress and model Yara Shahidi has landed a role as the new Bobbi Brown cosmetics brand ambassador.
The 19-year-old “Grown-ish” star Yara made the announcement earlier this week to the over three million followers on her Instagram page.
According to Essence Magazine, as the spokesmodel for the brand’s new, “Confident Beauty” campaign the fresh-faced star will share her “beauty truths” to inspire women from all walks of life.
Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has been committed to inclusion since the beginning, boasting an extensive range of shades before it was the popular thing for brands to do.
Yara also shared why Bobbi Brown was a natural fit saying, “I think the brand represents what my generation represents: The importance of inclusion. The fact that it’s been so important for the brand in both makeup and philanthropic endeavors since the beginning, speaks to the fact that it’s not a commercial trend but something they’re committed to.” ‘ Black-ish’ actress also took to the Gram to share the exciting news:

In celebration of the Confident Beauty campaign, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics will officially launch The Pretty Powerful Fund on International Women’s Day March 8th. They have pledged a $300,000 donation to Yara’s selected charities to reinforce the fund’s mission of supporting the creation of new possibilities for women and girls.
Yara began her career at the age of 6 but she gained recognition for her starring role as the oldest daughter Zoey Johnson on the sitcom Black-ish (2014–present) and its spin-off series Grown-ish (2018–present). Her film credits include Imagine That (2009) and Smallfoot (2018).
