Cambridge students were left bewildered during a university exam when they came across a question which asked them to analyse a poem, written by Koos Kombuis, which featured only punctuation and no words.<\/p>\n

One student said of the puzzling request: “I went in feeling confident and panicked. I thought it was a printing mistake. I’m concerned about my 2:1.”<\/p>\n

Kombuis, from Cape Town in South Africa, wrote the poem as a protest against apartheid censorship laws.<\/p>\n
