The release, which albeit taps into the aesthetics of his older music, sounds eerily familiar to Otile and Jovial\u2019s duet, and keen listeners were quick to point that occurrence out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Diamond Platnumz - Naanzaje (Official Music Video)\" width=\"880\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hcqSqASevvs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Naanzaje<\/em> and <em>Such Kinda Love<\/em> are both reggaeton midtempo tracks, a sound that seems to swiftly creep its way into the mainstream music scene. Both the songs sound similar to Tanzanian crooner Mario\u2019s song <em>For You<\/em> and Rayvanny\u2019s popular hit <em>Teamo<\/em>. The latter was notably the first song in the region among the four to have the reggaeton production elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Otile Brown X Jovial - Such Kinda Love (Official Music Video)sms skiza 7301722 to 811\" width=\"880\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tfWx8o_Kmog?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This is definitely not the first time Platnumz has been accused of replicating another artiste\u2019s work. In 2019, as reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.capitalfm.co.ke\/thesauce\/shock-as-diamond-platnumz-is-accused-of-stealing-his-latest-hit-the-one\/\">The Sauce<\/a> Diamond whose real name is Naseeb Abdul was accused of stealing the audio for his song \u2018The One\u2019 from Namibian singer King TeeDee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Namibian fans ganged up on Diamond, accusing him of kicking out the Namibian singer in the song that has gathered over a million views in 17 hours after it was uploaded on YouTube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, Wasafi artists Diamond and Rayvanny had been under fire for copying the video concept for their hit song &#8216;Tetema&#8217; from a song titled &#8216;See You Again&#8217; by Tyler The Creator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020, the internet easily deciphered that the video to <em>Gere<\/em>, a collaboration with his Kenyan baby mama Tanasha Donna heavily borrowed from Brazilian singer Iza\u2019s <em>Brisa<\/em> video. Several scenes from both videos are bona fide proof to that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.capitalfm.co.ke\/thesauce\/no-gere-diamond-platnumz-and-tanasha-donna-are-copy-cats\/\">READ: No Gere: Diamond Platnumz And Tanasha Donna Are Copy Cats<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the matter raised eyebrows, Iza sarcastically called out Diamond affirming he had indeed copied the concept of her video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not too long after, Platnumz dropped his hit single <em>Jeje<\/em>.
