Two Secondary schools in Kenya have been listed among the best 10 secondary schools in Africa by The African Economist<\/i>.<\/a> The ranking has listed 100 schools across Africa with exceptional facilities, good learning environment and consistent high education standards. Rift Valley Academy is ranked number two while International School of Kenya is at number seven in Africa. Eight other schools in Kenya have made the cut:<\/p>\n

1. Grey College South Africa<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"greycollege\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The 150 year old school is in Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

2. Rift Valley Academy<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"rva\"<\/a><\/p>\n

RVA is a Christian Boarding School in Kijabe, Kiambu County, Kenya. The academy is a branch of Africa Inland Mission International and was established by missionaries in 1906.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

3. King Edward VII School (Johannesburg)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"King<\/a><\/p>\n

The school is exceptional because it is a public school that has maintained top standards. The boys’ school has 1,000 students between ages 13 to 18.<\/p>\n

4. Hilton School (South Africa)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Hilton\"<\/a><\/p>\n

A Christian boy\u2019s boarding school in KwaZulu-Natal, one of the only two boys boarding schools in South Africa.<\/p>\n

5. St. George\u2019s College Zimbabwe<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"st-georges-school\"<\/a><\/p>\n

St. George\u2019s is a private Catholic school in Harare and is one of the oldest formal schools established in Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n

6. Prince Edward School, Zimbabwe<\/strong><\/p>\n

The boys\u2019 school has over 1200 day-scholars and borders and teaches music, astronomy, sport, speech and drama along the regular curriculum.<\/p>\n

7. International School of Kenya<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 37 year old school in the outskirts of Nairobi follows the American education system and is the largest international school in Nairobi.<\/p>\n

8. Accra Academy Ghana<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Accra<\/a><\/p>\n

The Academy is similar to our own Starehe Centre that admits talented local and international students. It is the first private Academy to be established in Ghana and famous and prominent Ghanaians have graduated from the school.<\/p>\n

9. Lyc\u00e9e Lamine Gu\u00e8ye, Senegal<\/strong><\/p>\n

The School is in Dakar, Senegal.<\/p>\n

10. Adisadel College, Ghana<\/strong><\/p>\n
