While we all dream of working for a blue chip company with a six figure salary and awesome benefits, there are some companies where these perks are bare minimum. They are the kind of places you just can’t wait for Monday to report to the office. In fact, they are playing grounds for adults, for lack of a better term.

1. Google

If you google Google offices, you find all sorts of colorful open working spaces, with different themes. With its headquarters in Mountain view, CA, this global vast organization (with 70 offices in 40 countries) has taken the enviable crown four years in a row for being the best company and the coolest to work for in the world. The HQ has one of the best architectural designs that you have ever seen that includes three wellness centers and a seven-acre sports complex, which includes a roller hockey rink, basketball courts, bocce, and shuffle ball; and horseshoe pits .The company also offers free lunches to all employees, with stocked pantries and a whopping 16 free cafes at headquarters in Mountain view, Calif. Plus, creative work spaces – from bean-bag chairs in a big atrium in Dublin to hammock chairs in Zurich.

This hotel is located in the heart of Boston and is breathtakingly beautiful. What makes it third on the list? The Management offers VIP treatment to all employees. The “internal guests” feel as important and appreciated as the clientele. And the free employee cafeteria overseen by the executive chef and often frequented by the General Manager, creates a sense of family and community. The hotel has a programme they call Milkshake moments where the company awards employees who go above and beyond to accommodate guests appropriately.

4. The Visalus  INC

The Visalus is a multi level marketing company based in Los Angeles California.  The company markets weight management, nutritional products, dietary supplements and energy drinks in the United States, Canada and UK.  This company is mainly known for the term Swagger because it encourages its employees to feel like individuals. The dress code, which encourages jeans and tennis shoes, is part of the company’s swagger, as is the work environment. Company meetings are different, too. Justin Call, the vice president, said all events are high energy and fun with a theme or cause. Some meetings even feature a live DJ.

5. Mars

It can’t get awesome than working in a chocolate company! Just the fact that you work in one of the best chocolate producing companies in the world should be good enough. Its diversified galaxy of brands for man and beast are iconic — from chocolate favorites like M&M’s and Snickers to Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit and Lifesavers to pet-care products like Pedigree and Whiskas, as well as Uncle Ben’s Converted Rice.

Mars looks at the wellbeing of the employee. It encourages their employees to strive for the best and get only the best in life. Employees are also paid pretty well as it appeared on the top ten best paying companies globally. Mars boasts employees who love not only the products they make but also the office culture and the company’s long-standing principles. It is not branded the name the sweetest place to work for no reason. There are vending machines that run 24/7 and offer free candy. Now that’s a Yummy office!
