World United College Scholarships available for Kenyan students

United World Colleges offer a unique educational experience based on principles of shared learning, international understanding and a dedication to community service so as to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.

 

The Kenyan National Committee of the United World Colleges is accepting applications from students who wish to attend a United World College abroad for a two year international experience and academic study leading to an International Baccalaureate Diploma.

All interested applicants are required to submit an essay explaining why they are interested in attending a United World College, why they are a good fit as well as what they might contribute and hope to gain from this experience.

 

Applications may be submitted through a hand written or typed application via post or a scanned copy of the application letter emailed with supporting documents attached; a copy of your of school leaving certificate, result slip, certificates of achievement and merit and details of extra-curricular activities. Applicants are also required to include a phone number where they may be contacted.

 

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Recent high school graduate with a B+ or above KCSE grade average and “A” for G.C.E. or I.G.C.S.E.

 

  • Kenyan citizen aged 16-18 years
