If you thought US President Obama spends the whole day listening to advisers, Cabinet Secretaries and White House operatives, then you will be pleasantly surprised that Obama has a life beyond Washington politics.

Obama released his playlist on the popular music streaming service Spotify, “due to popular request.”

@Potus revealed a rich and diverse music taste that included classics as well as modern R&B in a 20 day & 20 night-time tracks. Obama’s choice includes John Legend, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Beyonce, Frank Sinatra, Lianne La Havas and Mos Def.

We sample 10 of the 40 summer songs.
